Antal Soft Attach Pad Eye for 8mm Line
The Antal Soft Attach Pad Eye for 8mm Line is designed for textile attachments such as loops, strops, and lashings, providing a secure, lightweight alternative to stainless steel pad eyes. With a Safe Working Load (SWL) of 2,200 kg, it offers reliable strength for mid-sized yacht applications.
Manufactured from high-strength aluminium and hard anodised for corrosion resistance, the pad eye features smooth, rounded edges to protect rope fibres. The wide, recessed central groove ensures lashings remain securely aligned under load, reducing chafe and extending service life.
Two fixing options are available:

Screw/Bolt Fixing – secured with countersunk fasteners, visible from the top.

Stud Fixing – supplied with threaded studs integrated into the base, passing through the deck and fastened from below, leaving a flush, snag-free surface.
