The Lopolight 1NM Combined Sidelight – SUB Version is built for demanding marine environments where standard sealing isn’t enough. Designed for vessels under 12 metres, this vertically mounted fixture combines both port (red) and starboard (green) sidelights into a single compact unit, with each sector delivering 112.5° of light visible to 1 nautical mile — in full compliance with COLREG72.
What sets the SUB version apart is its IP68+ rating and vacuum-potted construction. The internal electronics are fully encapsulated in resin under vacuum, making the unit truly submersible and highly resistant to shock, vibration, and long-term moisture exposure. This makes it ideal for exposed locations, heavy-duty workboats, and military or offshore craft where reliability is critical.
The housing is machined from black anodised aluminium and supplied with a 6-metre marine-grade cable to support flexible routing in challenging installations.
