The Lopolight 1NM Starboard Sidelight (SUB) is engineered for the most demanding marine environments, offering true IP68+ submersion capability. Designed for vessels under 12 metres, it emits a precise 112.5° green light with a 1 nautical mile range, fully compliant with COLREG72.
Unlike standard sealed units, the SUB variant is vacuum-potted, meaning all internal electronics are encapsulated in resin to eliminate air pockets and ensure complete water ingress protection. This process makes the light submersible and pressure-resistant, ideal for high-spray zones, washdowns, and even underwater exposure.
The compact housing is machined from black anodised aluminium, offering excellent corrosion resistance and a low-profile, modern aesthetic. Pre-fitted with a 6-metre marine-grade cable, it allows for flexible installation in exposed or mission-critical locations.
