Polyform Norway G5 Fender
The Polyform Norway G5 Fender is the largest model in the Original Polyform G-Series – a substantial cylindrical utility fender designed for boats requiring greater cushioning and hull protection while retaining the practical construction of Polyform's utility fender range.
Manufactured in Norway by Polyform, originators of the modern inflatable plastic buoy, the G-Series is made from marine-grade soft vinyl using blow-moulded construction. Longitudinal ribs run along the fender body to provide additional strength and abrasion resistance, helping the fender withstand regular contact with pontoons, quays and neighbouring vessels.
The G5 measures 705mm overall height x 215mm maximum diameter, with a gross volume of 19.3 litres. As the largest G-Series model, its increased length and diameter provide significantly more cushioning and stand-off than the smaller G2, G3 and G4, making it particularly suitable for larger leisure craft.
Integrated ropeholds at both ends allow the G5 to be rigged vertically or horizontally to suit different hull profiles and mooring situations. Generous 22mm diameter ropehold eyes provide convenient attachment points, while the V-10 all-plastic non-return valve allows straightforward inflation.
As Polyform's dedicated utility fender range, the G-Series provides a straightforward and economical alternative to the heavier-duty F-Series while retaining Polyform Norway's proven marine-grade materials and manufacturing quality.
